You can show a live prediction market on your stream by adding Vatic's overlay to OBS as a Browser source. Viewers see the question and the odds update as they make their calls, and an optional QR code lets them join from their phone. The background is transparent, so it sits cleanly over your game or camera.
What you need
- A Vatic account and an open market you created.
- OBS Studio (or any streaming software that supports a browser source).
Step 1: copy the overlay address
Open your market's page. As the creator you'll see a Share and grow panel with the stream overlay address. Copy it.
Step 2: add it to OBS
- In OBS, select the scene you want, then click + under Sources.
- Choose Browser, give it a name such as "Vatic odds" and click OK.
- Paste the overlay address into the URL field.
- Set the size to width 900 and height 300.
- Click OK, then drag and scale the overlay into place.
The background is transparent, so only the market card shows.
Step 3: choose how it looks
Add options to the end of the address:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
?size=s, ?size=m, ?size=l | Small, medium (default) or large |
?theme=light | Light card instead of dark |
?qr=0 | Hides the QR code |
To combine options, join them with &, for example ?size=l&theme=light.
Step 4: bring viewers in
The QR code takes viewers straight to the market, where they can make their call with free Vpoints. A few things help:
- Say it out loud when the market opens: "Scan the code, call it before the half ends."
- Leave it on screen while the market is open, so the odds moving becomes part of the show.
- Resolve it live when the answer is known, with the source, so everyone sees the result together.
Ideas for stream markets
- Football or fight watch-alongs: "Will there be a goal before half-time?", "Will the fight go the distance?"
- Gaming streams: "Will I beat this boss on the next attempt?" Keep the answer checkable on stream.
- Crypto streams: point viewers to Ranked rounds for quick Up or Down calls.
