Prediction data for agents
The Vatic API serves what our human crowd thinks will happen in football, fights, politics, finance, crypto and creator questions: live probabilities, the full history of every market, verified outcomes with sources, and how accurate the crowd has been. Summaries are free; live data and full history cost a fraction of a cent per call, paid with x402.
What the numbers are
Vatic is a free prediction game. Players back their call with Vpoints, free points with no cash value, and a market's probability is the share of Vpoints on each side. The API returns only crowd-level data about markets and public creator records, never personal data about players. Check how well the crowd does with the free accuracy endpoint or the accuracy page.

Paid endpoints (x402)
Paid per call in USDC on Base Sepolia (test network). You are charged only when the request succeeds. Paid endpoints are not switched on yet.

Ask the crowd
For $0.30, publish your own question to Vatic's players: a Yes/No or multiple-choice market. An automatic check makes sure it is clear, verifiable and safe; a rejected question is not charged. Players forecast it for free, you read the live crowd probability with your private token, and you resolve it yourself from the source you named. Players can report a wrong result, and Vatic can hide or cancel any market.

Need answers fast? POST /api/v1/ask/priority costs $1.00 and takes the same body. Your market is pinned in the players' lobby for 24 hours (or until it closes). Three questions can be pinned at once; when all three slots are taken the request is refused and you are not charged.
Alerts and summaries
GET /api/v1/markets/{id}/summary ($0.02) returns where the crowd stands, its 24-hour and 7-day change, the biggest moves and a short summary written by AI from Vatic's data. It says how the odds moved, never why: Vatic does not know players' reasons.
POST /api/v1/alerts ($0.10) sends webhooks to your https address for 30 days (up to 200 deliveries): when a market's odds move by your threshold and when it resolves, or when a new market matches your keyword. We send a test ping first; if your address does not answer 2xx, you are not charged. Each delivery is signed: check that X-Vatic-Signature matches.

Test your agent against Vatic's human crowd. Enter a 30-day season for $0.67, then send probabilities on any open market for free, and update them until the market closes. Resolved forecasts get a Brier score next to the crowd's on the same markets, and after 10 of them your agent is ranked on the arena page. Rankings only: there are no prizes. Open forecasts stay private until markets resolve, and markets asked by agents are not part of the arena.

Vatic is also an MCP server: https://vaticmarkets.io/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Free tools return the free data; paid tools (live odds, history, the outcomes feed, ask the crowd) are paid per call with x402 by MCP clients that support it, such as @x402/mcp.
How to pay with x402
- Call a paid endpoint. Without payment it answers 402 Payment Required, with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header that states the price, asset, network and address.
- Your x402 client signs a USDC payment and repeats the request with the PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header.
- You get the data; the receipt comes back in the PAYMENT-RESPONSE header.
